For the past twenty-two years (with a stop along the way for a law degree), I have worked very closely with dynamic schools, creative investors, and world-class startups. I have brought together people and ideas from every corner of the world and have always been encouraged at how willingly we share the bonds of hope and optimism.
My professional life has been nothing short of amazing. I’ve learned from great institutions, been mentored by some of the world’s most innovative thinkers and have seen the remarkable potential of ideas. As a Ford Fellow I learned from the educational leaders of today and tomorrow while as a student in the Nonprofit Management program at Kellogg, I integrated my ideas of innovation in the for-profit sector with the experience and perspective of the world’s nonprofit leaders.
I work internationally, usually traveling close to 200,000 miles a year, and have been able to create new models of thought, new ways to think about the issues that confront institutions and individuals as they survive, grow, evolve. I have helped guide people and institutions to embrace the power of investment of time, resources, optimism and commitment. I have taught people how to manage their fear to attain and enjoy success.
